Basic Theme Options

When you open the Theme Creator, you'll see several options to start customising your theme. This page takes a walk through each one.

Theme Name

Choose a name that reflects your theme's style or purpose. This name will appear in the theme selection menu, so make it descriptive and memorable.

For example: "Midnight Blue", "Spring Pastels" or "Minecraft"

Description (optional)

You can use this to provide more details about your theme. You can describe its inspiration, intended use, or any special features. When sharing your theme over the store, this is what will show up as the description!

Example: "A dark theme with subtle blue accents, designed for comfortable late-night studying."

Cover Image (optional)

Upload an image that represents your theme visually. This image will be displayed in the theme selection menu.

  • Recommended resolution: 640x128 pixels

  • Accepted file types: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP

  • Preferred Maximum file size: 5MB

Tip: Choose an image that captures the essence of your theme's colour scheme and style.

Hide Name

When enabled, this option hides the theme name in the selection menu. It's useful if your cover image includes text or if you prefer a cleaner look.

Force Theme

This option allows you to set a specific mode (light or dark) as the base for your theme. It's helpful if your design works best with a particular mode.

Options:

  • Don't force (default)

  • Force Light Mode

  • Force Dark Mode

Default Theme Color

Set the primary colour for your theme here. This colour will be used throughout the SEQTA Learn interface for various elements.

Tip: Select a colour that contrasts well with your chosen text colour to ensure readability.

These basic options form the foundation of your theme. In the next sections, we'll explore more advanced customisation using Custom Images and Custom CSS. Get ready to take your theme to the next level!
