Congratulations on creating your custom BetterSEQTA+ theme! Now it's time to share your masterpiece with the community. This guide will walk you through the process of submitting your theme for inclusion in the BetterSEQTA+ theme store.
Before submission, ensure your theme is:
Complete and functioning as intended
Free of any offensive or inappropriate content
It will need to look decent or serve a purpose to be approved
Go to the BetterSEQTA+ settings
Navigate to the "Themes" tab
Find your custom theme in the list
Click the share icon next to your theme
Save the exported theme file to your computer
If you haven't already, you can join the official SEQTA Extensions Community Discord server:
This is where you'll submit your theme and interact with other theme creators and users.
In the Discord server, navigate to the #theme-submissions channel
Use the /submit-theme
command
Attach the theme file you exported earlier
After submission:
Your theme file will be automatically processed
The BetterSEQTA+ team will review your submission
If approved, your theme will be added to the official theme store
You'll (hopefully) receive a notification in Discord about the status of your submission
To increase the chances of your theme being approved:
Ensure it's visually appealing and enhances the SEQTA Learn experience
Test for any bugs or display issues
Provide a clear and concise description of your theme
Be open to feedback and willing to make adjustments if requested
If you want to make changes to your theme after submission:
Update your theme in the BetterSEQTA+ theme creator
Export the updated version
Submit it again using the same process
Mention in your submission that it's an update to an existing theme
By submitting your theme, you're contributing to the BetterSEQTA+ community and helping to improve the SEQTA experience for students everywhere. Thank you for your creativity and contribution!
A pull request will be created in the BetterSEQTA Themes GitHub repository:
